Bio
I am a client focused, empathy first coach with a deep belief in lifelong strength and the quiet dignity of being capable. In simple terms, my mission is to help you stay strong enough to wipe your own heinie when you are 95, carry your groceries at 80, get off the floor without thinking twice, and have fun while doing it.
My first client was myself. I lost over 125 pounds, not all at once and not without a fight. Going from 325 pounds to 195 was not a straight line. It was a long walk through sweat, doubt, small victories, and a few well timed wake up calls. Somewhere between that first painful walk around the block and the first time I felt genuinely strong, I realized the journey was never about getting lighter. It was about becoming someone capable of carrying more. That realization led me to coaching. It became my Second Mountain.
That journey did more than change my body. It gave me a life grounded in purpose and what I call strenuosity, strength expressed in real life.
My training specialties include kettlebells, barbell strength, hiking and rucking prep, body recomposition, and functional mobility methods such as ELDOA and FRC. I have coached a wide range of incredible humans including individuals over 40, underweight and severely overweight clients, and those with special considerations such as MS or chronic disease. No matter the background, everyone starts with the same raw material, a body that wants to move well and a life that gets better when it does.
Here is what I believe. Strength is not about barbells or kettlebells. It is about showing up. It is about stacking small wins. It is about doing things today your future self will thank you for. It is about the long view. Keep the goal the goal. Do the simple things well. Do them for a very long time. Success in any arena comes from the honest act of choosing yourself. Through coaching with me, the discipline that once felt heavy becomes quieter, steadier, and far more personal. Eventually the work becomes what it was always meant to be, an expression of self respect. And yes, a whole lot of fun. Whether it is iron, an outdoor trail, a mobility session that makes you stand a little taller, or simply learning to move with more confidence, we will climb that second mountain together. Bully and Strength to You.
